The reporter learned today from the National Standards Commission that starting October 1, 6 mandatory national standards and 248 recommended national standards will be implemented. The mandatory national standard “Basic Requirements for Production Process Safety” stipulates general production process safety requirements for enterprises in terms of goals and risk management, plant site selection and layout, buildings, processes and production equipment, materials, storage and transportation, electricity, etc., as well as safety protection technical measures such as fire prevention and explosion protection, dust and virus protection, electric shock prevention, lifting damage prevention, and fall prevention. The implementation of standards helps production and management units to improve reliability and safety in the production process, and avoid or reduce equipment damage, personnel damage, and environmental pollution.
