Tertiary Minerals Raises GBP1 Million to Fund Mushima North Drilling in Zambia

04:00 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tertiary Minerals (TYM.L) conditionally raised 1 million pounds sterling through a placing of 1,666,666,667 new ordinary shares at 0.0006 pound each. The precious minerals explorer said Wednesday that trading in its shares resumed on the London bourse following the close of its capital access window. The placing remains subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting expected on or around Oct. 27, with the new shares expected to commence trading on Oct. 28. The precious minerals explorer intends to use the proceeds for deeper drilling at Target A1 within the Mushima North Project in Zambia to test whether mineralization continues beneath the oxide zone. Funds will also support critical mineral assays, expanded metallurgical testwork, and environmental and community surveys. SP Angel Corporate Finance served as joint broker in the placing.
