According to Shanghai Airport Group, during the National Day holiday this year, Shanghai's two major airports, Pudong and Hongqiao, are expected to guarantee a total of 17,000 flights, an increase of 3.7% over the previous year, including 12,000 from Pudong Airport and 50,000 from Hongqiao Airport; 3.02 million inbound and outbound passengers, an average of 428,000 passengers per day, an increase of 5.5% over the previous year, including 1,952 million from Pudong Airport and 1.05 million from Hongqiao Airport.
