Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday that the number of customers in its foundry business is expected to increase about four times by 2029 compared to 2017. Noh Mi-jung, senior vice president of Samsung's foundry division, said during the 2026 Korea Premium Week event, “Since the foundry business was established as an independent division in 2017, the number of customers has increased by about 3 times. We expect the number of customers to increase by about 4 times by 2029.”
