The large-scale livestock and poultry farming rate in the country reached 76.9%, driving the widespread application of advanced and applicable technology and equipment. The contribution rate of animal husbandry science and technology reached 70%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of livestock and poultry manure exceeded 80%. The ability to prevent and control major animal diseases is gradually being strengthened. Major animal epidemics such as African swine fever have been effectively prevented and controlled. The overall level of biosafety protection in farming has been greatly improved, and animal outbreaks are generally stable and manageable. Modern industrial systems tend to be perfect. An industrial system supporting the production of forage, veterinary medicine, livestock and poultry, as well as facilities and equipment, sales and circulation, slaughter and processing, etc. has been established. Industrial feed production has ranked first in the world for 15 consecutive years; domestic seed source market share exceeds 80%. The industrial regulation and management system has been further improved. The quality and safety of livestock and poultry products has been maintained at a high level, and the sampling pass rate has stabilized at over 99%; comprehensive production capacity control mechanisms and policy systems have been gradually improved.
