According to news, on September 22, during the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 exhibition, Daikin Heavy Industries and Ulstein, a well-known Norwegian ship design company, officially signed a design contract for the next generation Ulstein HX122 with U-STERN® offshore foundation installation ship. This marks the official entry of Daikin Heavy Industries into the offshore wind power installation process, taking a key step towards becoming a “manufacturing+transport+installation” integrated supplier.

Furthermore, on September 27, the KING Series No. 3 large deck carrier, KING THREE, which was independently designed and fully built by Daikin Heavy Industries, was officially delivered at Daikin Heavy Industries' Panjin base. The successful delivery of this ship marks the completion, delivery and completion of all 3 ships of the same type in the Daikin Heavy Industries KING series. At this point, the entire Daikin Heavy Industries KING series has completed its own ocean transport fleet.
