Ukrainian President Zelensky said in a social networking platform on the 28th, “Russia attacked the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Rescue operations are currently underway: rescuers are putting out the fire and searching for people who may be trapped inside the building”. Zelensky also mentioned that a pharmaceutical company and several gas stations in Kyiv were also attacked on the 28th, and communication facilities were targeted in other cities and regions.
