According to the Anhui Daily, on September 28, the Information Office of the Anhui Provincial Government held a press conference and invited relevant officials from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Provincial Science and Technology Department to interpret the “Implementation Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Robotics Industry” recently issued by the General Office of the Provincial Government. The reporter learned from the press conference that Anhui will seize the “15th Five-Year Plan” strategic opportunity and build robotics and physical intelligence into an emerging pillar industry. It is planned that industrial robot production will enter the top of the country by 2030, humanoid robot production will enter the first tier in the country, leading domestic robot production in more than 10 segments such as spraying, explosion-proof, warehousing and logistics; and build a robot industry cluster with important influence in the country by 2035.
