The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Friday, the artificial intelligence sector of US stocks generally rose, with Arm (ARM.US) rising more than 4%, Dell Technology (DELL.US) rising more than 3%, and ultra-micro computers (SMCI.US) and Micron (MU.US) rising more than 2%. As demand for artificial intelligence hardware drives the overall strength of the semiconductor sector, investors are focusing on AI-driven CPU demand. Meta Platforms revealed that its Muse AI agent has been rapidly applied in CPU-based inference workloads. Arm's CPU design is seen as a key cornerstone for dealing with the scale of AI inference related to Muse, further highlighting the company's importance in broader AI infrastructure discussions.

Furthermore, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released its latest annual report, citing external estimates that the scale of global artificial intelligence (AI) investment led by the private sector may exceed 2 trillion US dollars this year. The report points out that investment in AI-related technology is estimated to drive a 0.5 percentage point increase in the US GDP growth rate in 2025, while the increase in productivity growth in the US in recent years also reflects, to some extent, the positive impact of AI applications in the early years.
