During the comprehensive maintenance period, the State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply Company relied on a “self-healing” island smart microgrid to ensure a continuous and stable supply of electricity. According to information, in order to make up for the shortcomings in power supply to remote islands, the State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply Company took the lead in operating a smart island microgrid on Miaozihu Island in 2024, and is supporting the construction of multiple power systems such as diesel power generation, energy storage, and photovoltaics to achieve integrated intelligent scheduling of source network load storage, and has the ability to operate independently off the grid after the main network is shut down.
