The Zhitong Finance App learned that power equipment stocks had the highest decline. As of press release, Weichai Power (02338) fell 4.85% to HK$27.92; Shanghai Electric (02727) fell 4.50% to HK$2.865; Dongfang Electric (01072) fell 3.28% to HK$17.68; and Chongqing Electromechanical (02722) was 2.37% to HK$1.645.

According to the news, Oracle issued a force majeure notice to Blue Owl Capital at the Project Jupiter data center in New Mexico. If the project is delayed, Oracle is trying to defer payments. Affected by this, US stocks Blue Owl Capital and Bloom Energy all closed down more than 3% overnight. According to reports, the Project Jupiter project uses Bloom Energy's fuel cells.

It is worth noting that investors' concerns about the future of the project have spread from core participants to surrounding supply chains, and public resistance to data center construction is also increasing selling pressure. Nationwide's Mark Hackett pointed out that this resistance is compounded by uncertainty about capital expenditure expectations, causing power equipment and construction machinery stocks to bear the brunt.
