12:07 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research maintained its buy rating on UCB (UCB.BR), with a price objective of 280 euros, noting that the biopharmaceutical company's chief financial officer remains "very confident" in the outlook for its psoriasis medicine Bimzelx. "UCB addressed a key debate (recent TRx trends) well in our view, as well as solid rebuttal vs upcoming competition with confidence in own data profile and differentiation," the research firm said Thursday, following feedback from UCB CFO Sandrine Dufour at a healthcare conference hosted by BofA. "On upcoming HS 4Q competition (NOVN Remi, ABBV Luti), UCB noted: 1) HS remains underpenetrated and underdiagnosed where new competition andMoA's will help awareness and expansion of the market; 2) very confident in Bimzelx data package (efficacy, deepening responses at 3y, safety, real-worldevidence) as competitive rebuttal to competitors; 3) treating patients late or with less efficacious agents can lead to severe disease with hospitalisation; 4)dermatologists are conservative; 5) investing now in awareness/Bimzelx is important for establishing in space," BofA added. Following UCB's recent acquisitions of Candid Therapeutics and Neurona Therapeutics, it is now focusing more on its early-stage assets, as Dufour highlighted that the company's current portfolio provides "very good" growth visibility into the next 10 years.
