01:33 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bernstein maintained its investment case for Siemens Healthineers (SHL.F), noting sustained near-term macroeconomic pressure and overhang from Siemens AG's (SIE.F) planned share sale. "2025/26E so far has been another year of headwinds with inflation, pressure in China diagnostics, and continued overhang from the anticipated sell-down by Siemens. Inflation pressure will continue into 2026/2027E while the company has additional financing and Siemens separation costs that will pressure EPS in 2026/2027E," analysts said in a Wednesday note focused on European consumer medical technology companies. Still, the research firm said investor confidence could improve through potential catalysts, including the rollout of its new radiotherapy platform, the closing of Siemens' divestment, and strategic clarity for the diagnostics business. As such, Bernstein maintained its outperform rating on the stock, with a price target of 44.50 euros, adding that it still sees "long-term opportunity" at the existing valuation levels. On the earnings side, analysts ticked up its fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS estimate to 2.37 euros from 2.36 euros.
