The 27th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region voted to pass a decision to amend the autonomous region's population and family planning regulations, stipulating that “couples who register their marriage in accordance with the law shall increase their marriage leave by 15 days in addition to enjoying marriage leave stipulated by the state.”
