The Zhitong Finance App learned that Shougang Langze (02553) rose more than 6% in early trading. As of press release, it had risen 4.39% to HK$17.84, with a turnover of HK$5.995 million.

According to the news, Shougang Langze announced that Hebei Shoulang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, was awarded the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification - EU Program (ISCC EU) certification by SCS Global Services on September 14, 2026. This is the first time that the global renewable carbon fuel sector has received such certification.

ISCC EU certification is a certification system recognized by the European Union and is an important market entry certificate for green fuels to enter the European market. Passing ISCC EU certification indicates that the ethanol products produced by the Group using industrial exhaust as a raw material have the necessary international sustainability qualifications to prepare sustainable green fuels as raw materials. After obtaining ISCC EU certification, the Group's ethanol products can be sold directly to the EU marine fuel and road transport fuel markets as certified regenerated carbon fuels, and can also enter the EU and UK aviation fuel markets.

Obtaining this certification is expected to open up overseas fuel supply chain channels for the Group, particularly helping the Group's products connect with the EU RefuelEU aviation carbon reduction market, thereby broadening the Group's international green fuel business layout.
