Wuhan Organic (02881) signed a construction contract for the first phase civil engineering of the Malaysian factory

Zhitong Financial App News, Wuhan Organic (02881) issued an announcement. On September 23, 2026 (after the trading session), the owner Benzoplus Chemicals (M) Sdn. Bhd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) and contractor CCIE Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. Conclude a construction contract. Based on this, the contractor agreed to undertake the first phase of the civil engineering project. The temporary contract amount was RM74 million (including 6% sales and service tax), and the maximum contract amount was RM85 million. The first phase civil engineering project refers to the civil engineering, decoration and installation of the first phase of the Malaysian factory site, with a total construction area of about 20,000 square meters

The Group's existing production facilities are mainly located in mainland China. The establishment of an overseas production base in Malaysia aims to mitigate the potential adverse effects of changes in international trade policy, reduce production and trade risks, and support the Group's internationalization and long-term development.

The contractors were selected through an invitation to tender process. The board of directors believes that the contractor has relevant engineering construction capabilities and project experience, and that its ultimate holding group has comprehensive engineering service capabilities in energy and chemical engineering, industrial plants, and mechanical and electrical engineering, which can support the requirements and schedule of the project.
