JD Sports Fashion's Fiscal H1 Attributable Profit Rises; Revenue Down

02:23 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- JD Sports Fashion (JD.L) said Wednesday its attributable profit for the fiscal first half grew, while revenue declined year over year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the 26 weeks ended Aug. 1, 2026, was 167 million pounds sterling, compared with 41 million pounds in the 26 weeks ended Aug. 2, 2025. EPS moved to 0.0342 pound from 0.008 pound. The sports, fashion and outdoor brands retailer's revenue was 5.90 billion pounds, compared with 5.94 billion pounds earlier. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.004 pound per share for the period, payable on Nov. 27 to shareholders on record as of Oct. 30 . It paid 0.0033 pound per share a year ago. For fiscal 2027, the company continues to expect profit before tax and adjusting items between 700 million pounds and 800 million pounds.
