Honghai Hi-Tech Resources (00065) plans a “1 to 7” benchmark share offering

According to Zhitong Finance App News, Honghai Hi-Tech Resources (00065) issued an announcement. The company proposes to provide shares at a subscription price of HK$0.280 per share for each existing share held on the record date to raise up to HK$481 million in total proceeds by issuing up to 1,7187.6 million shares to eligible shareholders (assuming there is no change in the number of shares issued on or before the record date).

Assuming that all shares are subscribed, the net proceeds from the offering are estimated to be approximately HK$479.75 million (assuming no change in the number of shares issued on or before the record date).

On the date of this announcement, shares were traded on the Stock Exchange with 4,000 shares per trading unit. The board of directors proposed changing the trading unit for each lot traded on the Stock Exchange from 4,000 shares to 5,000 shares. This adjustment will take effect at 9:00 a.m. on November 11, 2026 (Wednesday). The Company will arrange a split stock matching service to facilitate split stock transactions.
