The Houthis official in charge of prisoner of war affairs, Abdul Qader Murtada issued a statement on social media on the same day saying that Saudi Arabia attacked a prison in Hazm, the capital of Al Jawf province, on the evening of the 21st, resulting in the deaths of nine inmates. Murtada said that “some prisoners” were being held in the prison at the time of the incident; they were captured during recent fighting. The list of dead will be announced later. The Saudi side has yet to respond to this.
