02:10 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's construction cost index rose 2.3% year over year in August, matching the increase a month earlier, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics released Tuesday. The latest increase was largely attributed to higher construction costs in the residential and non-residential sectors. On a monthly basis, construction costs in the kingdom were 0.1% higher, against the prior zero growth.
