On September 22, at the opening ceremony of the 2nd China-Central Asia Meteorological Cooperation Forum, the China Meteorological Administration issued the “Mazu” Implementation Action Plan for Central Asian Countries, an Intelligent Meteorological Warning Program. We will further promote the implementation and application of the “Mazu” program in Central Asian countries. We are willing to work with Central Asian countries to respond positively to the United Nations National Early Warning Initiative and jointly build a regional meteorological safety barrier. With the theme of “Implementing Early Warning for All to Protect Regional Development and Safety”, the action plan is committed to deepening meteorological cooperation between China and Central Asian countries, working together to enhance regional disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities, better serve regional economic and social development, promote mutual benefit and win-win situation, and implement actions in five areas.
