From September 15 to 17, Director of the General Administration of Customs, Sun Meijun, led a delegation to visit Uzbekistan to have in-depth exchanges of views and reached an action plan on implementing the consensus of the heads of state of the two countries, promoting the implementation of customs cooperation agreements, and promoting trade safety and facilitation; held talks and signed cooperation documents with Chairman of the Food Safety Committee Urunov on topics such as quarantine and food safety cooperation for mutual export of animal and plant products. During her visit to Ukraine, Sun Meijun also exchanged work with comrades in charge of our embassy in Uzbekistan; met with representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises in Ukraine to learn about the business environment at the Ukrainian port; exchanged views with representatives of students trained by the Ukrainian Customs Service in China and listened to suggestions on training work.
