Recently, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued “Opinions on Promoting the Reform of Colleges and Universities by Classification”, which makes systematic arrangements for promoting college reform through classification. The opinion points out that the classification layout structure should be optimized. Scientifically construct a college classification development system, distinguish comprehensive and characteristic basic directions, establish a college classification framework, establish a diverse and adapted college classification model based on affiliations; coordinate the collaborative development of colleges and universities belonging to central departments and local colleges; coordinate the layout of higher education resources; coordinate the talent training structure; and make good use of international and domestic resources.
