The reporter learned today from the General Administration of Market Regulation that the unified social credit code system was officially implemented on October 1, 2015, and will soon celebrate its 11th birthday. The full implementation of the unified code system has made the identification system for legal persons and other organizations in China increasingly improved, gradually improving the management chaos of “multiple code assignment, 10,000 code spurts”, and laying a solid digital foundation for the construction of a unified national market. Over the past 11 years, 19 coding departments, including market supervision, institutional development, and civil affairs, have used unified codes to assign codes to 36 types of entities, including enterprises, individual businesses, institutions, institutions, and social organizations. The total number of coders nationwide is 333 million. Currently, there are 208 million unified code assigning entities.
