The “Plan” suggests that by 2030, the high-quality development of agricultural mechanization will achieve remarkable results. The comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation and harvesting will exceed 80%, the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation and harvesting in hilly mountainous areas will be increased to more than 75%, mechanization of animal husbandry, aquaculture, and initial processing of agricultural products will accelerate; new technologies and equipment such as artificial intelligence and new energy will be widely used in the field of agricultural mechanization; social service capabilities for agricultural machinery operations will be greatly improved, and agricultural machinery disaster prevention, mitigation and relief capabilities will be significantly enhanced. The “Plan” lays out five key tasks and measures: first, to thoroughly implement high-quality agricultural machinery equipment development actions to accelerate the supply capacity of advanced and applicable products; second, to concentrate efforts to break through pilot maturation blockages and promote the promotion and application of agricultural machinery equipment; third, to expand agricultural machinery application space scenarios to promote the formation of new industries and new business formats; fourth, to improve the quality and level of agricultural mechanization production and enhance agricultural machinery disaster prevention, mitigation and relief capabilities; five is to strengthen policy support for the entire industry chain to improve the management level of the agricultural machinery industry.
