Henan Provincial Party Committee Secretary Liu Ning visited Dengfeng City on September 19 to investigate and promote the integrated development of cultural tourism, protection of historical relics, and the management of religious affairs. Liu Ning inspected some of the key cultural relics in the “Middle of Heaven and Earth” historical complex in Dengfeng and learned about the protection of cultural relics and the operation and maintenance of fire protection facilities. At the Songshan Global Geopark, Liu Ning inspected the safety management, ecological protection and restoration of the park on site. Liu Ning also visited the Shaolin Temple Administration Office to listen to reports on the relevant work situation, stressing the need to adhere to the direction of Chineseization of religion in our country, raise the level of legalization of the governance of religious affairs, and continuously consolidate and develop the good situation of national unity and religious harmony.
