New energy vehicle insurance is expected to usher in a new round of pricing rule adjustments. Recently, I learned from the industry that the autonomous pricing coefficient range for new energy commercial vehicle insurance is expected to be adjusted to 0.5-1.5, which is consistent with fuel vehicles. I learned from many industrial insurance companies that in September 2025, the independent pricing coefficient for NEV insurance was adjusted from 0.65-1.35 to 0.6-1.4; in March 2026, it was adjusted again to 0.55-1.45. This time, the market forecast was adjusted to 0.5-1.5, which is in line with fuel vehicles. The current independent pricing coefficient range for commercial vehicle insurance for fuel vehicles is 0.5-1.5. This means that on the basis of the benchmark premium, the insurer's independent pricing coefficient can be as low as 0.5 and as high as 1.5, but the final premium must also be superimposed by factors such as NCD. This is not a floating space where the final premium is only 50% off to 1.5 times the benchmark premium.
