From September 16 to 18, the 43rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Human Resources Development Working Group Education Network Meeting was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Ren Youqun, member of the party group and vice-minister of the Ministry of Education, delivered a video message. The conference pointed out that APEC is the highest-level, broadest range of fields, and most influential economic cooperation mechanism in the Asia-Pacific region. The education network has become an important platform for education policy dialogue, strengthening exchanges and mutual learning, and deepening practical cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, the scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation are evolving at an accelerated pace, and the world has entered a new period of turbulent change. As an important global growth engine, the Asia-Pacific region also needs all economies to unite to meet challenges and promote development. The conference emphasized that this year is the APEC China Year, and China is willing to work with all parties to be guided by innovative ideas to deepen institutional connectivity; use intelligent education as the engine to jointly promote the fair development of education; and promote the all-round development of people with the goal of lifelong learning.
