In terms of bar code payment interconnection, the digital currency cross-border settlement integrated service platform built and operated by the Digital RMB International Operation Center has completed a cross-border system connection with the Lao National Payment Network, enabling cross-border connectivity between digital yuan and local bar code payments in Laos. At the end of 2025, Chinese residents can use digital yuan wallets to scan codes to pay at local commercial banks in Laos. Currently, China and Laos are jointly promoting functional upgrades and scenario expansion to further facilitate personnel exchanges and cultural tourism consumption between the two countries. In terms of economic and trade settlement exchange, some local banks in Laos have connected to CBETS and launched CBTS's new trade settlement and investment and financing service - Digital Currency Payment and Reward Payment.
