Its LightSpray technology relies on a robot to spray continuous filaments to directly shape the shoe body. According to people familiar with the matter, the technology can build a production base within a few months, so that Onpao can expand production capacity relatively quickly. The Zurich-based company plans to reach a long-term partnership with Mbappé, partly following its model of cooperation with Federer. Swiss tennis star Federer became an investor in 2019 and has since participated deeply in product research and development to help the brand expand its tennis business.
