The Information Office of the State Council held a series of press conferences on the theme of “Starting the 15th Five-Year Plan” series today. Relevant officials from the Ministry of Justice explained that the first national foreign-related legal service platform has now been initially built, bringing together a wide range of urgently needed practical resources such as extraterritorial legal texts, regional country legal guidelines, typical cases of foreign-related legal services, agency personnel information, etc., in an effort to provide high-quality and efficient foreign-related legal services to our overseas enterprises and citizens. The next step is to accelerate the official launch of the platform, deepen the construction of international commercial arbitration centers, support more law firms and arbitration institutions to “go global”, and take more measures to establish a foreign-related legal service system with strong online and offline integration and domestic and overseas linkages. During the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, the Ministry of Justice will also promote legislative projects such as international judicial assistance in civil and commercial matters, foreign labor cooperation, and foreign-contracted projects in an integrated manner to speed up the “toolbox” of foreign-related laws.
