06:24 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg increased its forecasts and price target for WPP (WPP.L), noting its "positive view" on the stock following its first-half report, reinforced by expert calls and a recent sales briefing from management. "Execution is rebuilding credibility: the H1 beat (lfl sales -4.7% versus the mid- to high-single-digit decline guided; Q2: -2.8%), GBP800m-900m guided operating cash flow before working capital, and GBP200m+ of 2026 disposal proceeds are underappreciated, and new business is the standout KPI," according to a Tuesday note. Analysts also highlighted the improving pitch momentum for the communications and advertising company, adding that "integration is central to the investment case" as the company progresses in its Elevate28 strategy. As such, the research firm increased its sales, EBIT and EPS forecasts for 2026 to 2028, along with its long-term profitability assumptions. Consequently, the London stock's price target was raised to 4.70 pounds sterling from 4.05 pounds, with an unchanged buy rating. "Near-term watch points include the outcome of the Coca-Cola (CCC3.F) media review, lfl momentum and H2 margin delivery (the low end of the 12-13% guidance implies a c200bp H2 decline)," Berenberg added.
