Goldman Sachs published a research report saying that the results for the second quarter and first half of this year reflect that China's CRO/CDMO industry is clearly recovering, corporate profits have exceeded expectations, and upward guidelines and orders are strong. The bank gave a “buy” rating to Yao Ming Kang De, Pharmaceutical Syndicate, Gloria Ying, and Kanglong Chemical, and a “neutral” rating for Pharmaceutical Biotech. Biotech companies' profits improved in the first half of the year, and BD revenue and operating leverage were also supported, attracting investors' attention. Coupled with market concerns about anti-corruption actions eased, the industry was more optimistic about Cinda Biotech, Columbotai, Connoya, Jingfang Pharmaceuticals and Hanson Pharmaceuticals, which gave them a “buy” rating.
