The China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the “Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Futures Companies”. It states that the main shareholders and actual controllers of futures companies should have a good financial position. The net assets of the major shareholders of a futures company shall not be less than RMB 200 million, and the net assets of the shareholder, controlling shareholder, and actual controller with the largest shareholding ratio among the major shareholders shall not be less than RMB 1 billion.
