The European Commission approved the provision of 6.1 billion euros to Ukraine on the 11th to purchase air defense and anti-missile systems, ammunition, drones, and electronic warfare systems. The European Commission said the funding will support procurement of defense products from EU and Ukrainian companies. EU member states have agreed on relevant arrangements, and Ukraine can use this money to purchase PAC-3 missiles needed for the “Patriot” air defense system.
