This week, the Ningbo Export Container Freight Index of the Maritime Silk Road Index released by the Ningbo Shipping Exchange closed at 2582.6 points, down 0.3% from last week. Of the 21 routes, the freight index for 11 routes rose, the freight index for 8 routes fell, and the freight index for 2 routes remained basically flat. Among the major ports along the “Maritime Silk Road”, the freight rate index of 8 ports rose, the freight index of 6 ports fell, and the freight index of 2 ports remained basically flat. The European route freight index was 1619.5 points, down 4.8% from last week; the eastern route freight index was 1500.2 points, down 5.8% from last week; and the diast-west route freight index was 1781.2 points, down 8.4% from last week. The US-East route freight index was 365.5 points, up 0.6% from last week; the US-West route freight index was 4304.8 points, up 0.5% from last week. The Middle East route freight index was 5480.5 points, up 3.0% from last week. The Thailand-Vietnam route freight index was 1872.3 points, up 18.6% from last week.
