04:45 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- JD.com received negative feedback from competitors for its proposed undertakings to address the European Commission's foreign subsidy concerns over its acquisition of Ceconomy (CEC.F), Reuters reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter. Under the proposed remedies, the German consumer electronics retailer would reportedly gain market-rate access to JD.com's European logistics and technological capabilities, while smaller peers would be granted similar access on fair and non-discriminatory rates, one of the sources said. The Commission is expected to decide on the deal by Oct. 23. The European Commission had no comment, while JD.com declined to respond when reached by MT Newswires.
