The Electoral Affairs Commission of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) today issued guidelines on election activities for Election Committee subsectors in accordance with the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance. The guidelines apply to the 2026 Election Committee Subsector General Election to be held on November 22 this year, as well as the subsequent Election Committee Subsector By-Elections. The Election Commission conducted a public consultation on the proposed guidelines from June 11 to July 10.
