On September 9, Interface News learned that the main project of ArcelorMital-China Oriental Group's downstream new energy soft magnetic materials project has basically met the equipment installation requirements and is scheduled to be officially put into operation in mid-2027. The project is located in the Binjiang Economic Development Zone in Changzhou, and plans to produce 1.8 million tons of electrical steel per year. The first phase of the project plans to produce 500,000 tons of high-performance non-oriented electrical steel per year.
