Amoéba, Syngenta Sign European Distribution Deal for Biocontrol Fungicide

01:13 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amoéba (ALMIB.PA) and Syngenta Crop Protection AG signed a long-term exclusive supply and distribution contract for a next-generation biocontrol fungicide product targeting cereal diseases. Under the long-term commercial and development partnership, the Swiss agrichemicals and seeds group will have exclusive distribution rights for AXP20, based on Amoéba's technology, across the European Union, the UK, Ukraine, and Switzerland, according to a Wednesday release. First market registrations are expected in the third quarter of 2028, with first sales in core EU markets targeted by the end of 2028 for use by farmers in spring 2029. First registrations in the UK and Switzerland are expected to take place around 2029.
