On September 8, the 72nd meeting of the APEC Energy Working Group was held in Beijing. Wang Jianbo, Deputy Director of China's National Energy Administration, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Wang Jianbo stressed that the vitality of APEC cooperation lies in the participation of all economies. China has always adhered to the concept of openness and inclusiveness, and hosted the APEC “China Year” series of events in the energy sector. Instead, it has set up a platform for multilateral dialogue to promote all economies to fully share practical experiences and learn from each other, and to gather the wisdom of all parties into the results of cooperation. We hope that in the spirit of seeking common ground while reserving differences, all economies will frankly exchange views, forge policy consensus, actively respond to new issues raised by global energy landscape adjustments and technological changes on the development of the Asia-Pacific region based on the energy sector, and contribute more energy to the welfare of all people in the Asia-Pacific region.
