Genflow Biosciences' SLAB Trial in Aged Beagle Dogs Meets Primary Endpoint

05:30 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Genflow Biosciences (GENF.L) said Tuesday its clinical trial assessing its proprietary SIRT6 centenarian gene therapy in aged beagle dogs met its primary endpoint. The trial, named Sarcopenia and Longevity in Aged Beagles, or SLAB, enrolled 24 beagle dogs over age 10, divided into four groups. The study met its primary endpoint by reducing biological age as measured by the Grim methylation clock, with treated dogs showing a "clear signal of improvement" relative to control animals. The biotechnology company also noted improvements across several functional and observable secondary measures.
