They are from the Financial Services and Treasury of the HKSAR Government, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, the Census and Statistics Department, the Civil Engineering and Development Department, Customs, the Department of Justice, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, the Observatory, the Police Force, the Intellectual Property Department, the Lands Department and the Independent Commission against Corruption. According to information, with the strong support of the central government and the assistance of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong, the SAR government previously participated in the UN Junior Professional Officer Program in 2019 and 2023, dispatching 5 and 12 young Hong Kong civil servants recommended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, respectively, to work in different agencies under the United Nations system as Chinese personnel.
