Trump posted AI images claiming to “earn hundreds of billions of dollars for the country” in stock earnings, without providing any evidence

The Zhitong Finance App learned that US President Donald Trump intensively posted a series of images generated by artificial intelligence on his social networking platform Truth Social last Sunday, with multiple unconfirmed grand statements, including claims that he has earned “hundreds of billions of dollars” in stocks and other asset positions for the US.

US President Trump, 80, spent more than 10 hours last Sunday posting dozens of images apparently generated by AI on his social platforms. The content covered depictions of Iran being “defeated,” images of Trump and George Washington riding the same horse, and an AI composite image of Robert De Niro holding a T-shirt with the words “Trump is my president.”

One of the AI images shows him sitting in front of several surveillance screens in the White House tracking stock market trends. The caption reads: “I am doing this for our country, not myself. I have earned hundreds of billions of dollars in stocks and various other positions for the United States of America, not for myself; all I have received is criticism from the Radical Left Democratic Party. It's very unfair, but what can we do?”

Although the post did not provide any evidence, the Trump administration bought 10% of semiconductor giant Intel's shares in August 2025, and the market value of the investment has now exceeded 50 billion US dollars.

Trump has previously been the subject of controversy over the launch of the “Truth API” — a feature that costs $100,000 a month and allows early access to policy decisions that could affect financial markets. In July, US senators urged the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to investigate whether Truth Social's parent company Trump Media violated federal securities laws due to Truth API.

This is not the first time that Trump posted AI-generated content. During the ongoing war between the US and Iran, he posted such content many times, including an image of him carrying a gun, an explosion in the background, and the caption “The good days are over.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the details of the images.

Situation in Iran

It has been more than half a year since the US and Israel launched a “major combat operation” in Iran, and there was no sign that either party was ready to return to the negotiation table on Monday.

Trump shared dozens of AI-generated images showing Iran's destruction, as well as several infographics of Iran's economy with no verifiable sources.

One unconfirmed chart claims that Iran's currency has been “destroyed,” while the other shows Iran on the map with the caption “Iran is a failed country.”

An AI image shows Trump watching explosions engulf multiple ships on the deck of a warship. In the other photo, he hits a map of Iran with a sledgehammer with the theme of the American flag. The third picture depicts an explosion on Halke Island with the caption “Goodbye, Halk,” and fighter jets flying over the sky.

Although outsiders believe that Iran's gross domestic product shrank during the war and inflation soared to a record high, some experts warned that the country should not be easily determined to be on the verge of economic collapse.

Trump's Heroic Incarnation and American Dominance

Trump posted a number of AI images, portraying himself as an action hero and showing himself as America's savior. Some images depict him as the leader of a futuristic robot behind him, with the National Assembly building standing in the background.

In other images, he appears similar to wrestler Hulk Hogan (Hulk Hogan), wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and wearing an American flag. Another shows him as the leader of the Space Force Command Center.

With “Make America Great Again” as the core of his political brand, Trump called for reviving America's strength at home and abroad.

The AI image screen also includes content depicting multiple countries, territories, and natural or celestial landmarks as US possessions or territories. One AI image marked the Strait of Hormuz as a “new territory of the United States,” while the other showed that the state of New Mexico was renamed “New America.”

There is also an image showing the Moon with the caption “The Moon is ours,” with the American flag attached. The other one marks Lake Ontario, which currently shares the border between the US and Canada, as an “American Lake.”

The move comes after Trump signed an executive order instructing the federal government to change the name of Lake Ontario to “American Lake.” Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney responded at the time that Canada would continue to use the name Lake Ontario.
