Eurozone's Employment Growth Steady at 0.1% in Q2, Final Data Shows

05:22 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The number of employed individuals in the euro area rose 0.1% in the second quarter, the same as in the prior three-month period, final data from Eurostat showed Monday. The figure is in line with the flash estimate. On a yearly basis, employment growth in the eurozone stood at 0.5% in the second quarter, unchanged from the previous quarter and in line with the flash reading.
