01:53 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EssilorLuxottica (EL.PA) reorganized its senior management team after Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, son of Luxottica's late founder, stepped down from his roles as the company's chief strategy officer and president of Ray-Ban, the Financial Times reported Monday, citing sources familiar with the matter. Del Vecchio will not be replaced, while responsibilities held by other executives who recently left have been reassigned, the report said. Chrystel Barranger was appointed chief growth officer, Davide Schinetti will serve as chief operating and R&D officer, and Alfonso Cerullo will oversee optical retail and medical and surgical activities in North America.
