The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will jointly host the “Gathering the Blue Ocean to Wisely Create the Future” marine economy high-quality development talent matchmaking event in Qingdao on September 16, with the aim of stabilizing jobs, expanding capacity and improving the quality of employment in the marine economy. The event set up two parallel sections: the Marine Economy High Quality Development Talent Matchmaking Conference and the Talent Supply and Demand Meeting. Recruiters set up booths at the talent supply and demand meeting site to conduct face-to-face exchanges and matchmaking to achieve efficient matching between talents and jobs. The event invited enterprises and research institutes such as central enterprises, high-tech enterprises, and specialized high-tech enterprises in the marine sector to meet talent needs, including China Shipbuilding Group, CNOOC Shipping Group, China Merchants Group, China Communications Construction Group, China Power Construction Group, the Second Oceanographic Research Institute of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Tianjin Seawater Desalination Institute, the Marine Information Center, and the Fourth Oceanographic Research Institute. Up to now, the campaign has recruited 174 employers from 11 coastal provinces, provided 732 jobs, and required more than 2,000 talents. Relevant high-level talents, professional and technical talents, highly skilled talents, innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and outstanding fresh graduates can participate in the matchmaking event.
