Recently, several ships of the Southern War Zone Navy, including the Weinan, Zunyi, Changsha, and Guilin ships, were in a part of the South China Sea to conduct live fire training at sea to test their ability to provide fire support and integrated maritime combat capabilities in a tactical context. In recent years, the Navy in the Southern War Zone has used major missions such as offshore training and joint exercises to continuously explore the base of weapons and equipment capabilities, continue to conduct tactical innovation research, embed naval combat units into the joint combat chain, and forge joint victory capabilities in system integration.
