The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 3, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange would welcome the issuance of offshore RMB bonds by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. This batch of bonds is expected to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 10. The total amount of offshore issuance was RMB 3.7 billion, including two terms of 5-year and 10-year bonds, to meet the needs of different investors.

The Development Bank of Kazakhstan first issued dim sum bonds in Hong Kong last year. This transaction is the largest dim sum bond issuance project among Central Asian quasi-sovereign issuers to date, reflecting the continuing interest of Central Asian issuers in the offshore RMB market. Since this year, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has welcomed the listing of more than 180 new bonds.
