Shareholders in TOYO Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ:TOYO) may be thrilled to learn that the analysts have just delivered a major upgrade to their near-term forecasts. The analysts greatly increased their revenue estimates, suggesting a stark improvement in business fundamentals.
Following the upgrade, the latest consensus from TOYO's dual analysts is for revenues of US$569m in 2026, which would reflect a reasonable 3.6% improvement in sales compared to the last 12 months. Per-share earnings are expected to accumulate 4.9% to US$1.90. Prior to this update, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of US$486m and earnings per share (EPS) of US$1.56 in 2026. There has definitely been an improvement in perception recently, with the analysts substantially increasing both their earnings and revenue estimates.

Despite these upgrades, the consensus price target fell 15% to US$14.00, perhaps signalling that the uplift in performance is not expected to last.
Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. We would highlight that TOYO's revenue growth is expected to slow, with the forecast 7.3% annualised growth rate until the end of 2026 being well below the historical 209% growth over the last year. By way of comparison, the other companies in this industry with analyst coverage are forecast to grow their revenue at 26% per year. Factoring in the forecast slowdown in growth, it seems obvious that TOYO is also expected to grow slower than other industry participants.
The biggest takeaway for us from these new estimates is that analysts upgraded their earnings per share estimates, with improved earnings power expected for this year. Fortunately, they also upgraded their revenue estimates, and are forecasting revenues to grow slower than the wider market. A lower price target is not intuitively what we would expect from a company whose business prospects are improving - at least judging by these forecasts - but if the underlying fundamentals are strong, TOYO could be one for the watch list.
Even so, the longer term trajectory of the business is much more important for the value creation of shareholders. At least one analyst has provided forecasts out to 2028, which can be seen for free on our platform here.
